The other day, my grandma, my mum and I visited the Christmas markets (yes, I am aware that it is early November). I wouldn't usually go, as it gets too crowded for my liking, however, my mum was making an effort due to my appointments recently (I'll talk about that another time) so I just went along with the idea. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas and the Manchester Christmas markets but I just cant deal with crowds… even at 10:30 in the morning.
I started the day, on Saturday, by taking my dog called Oscar, to the park, on our way there we found a dog. The dog was ironically called Max (which is also my brothers name), Max was just running around the streets without a collar and I didn't know what to do. I called my mother 11 times with no answer, so that was no help; her excuse was that she thought it was my grandma ringing. Anyway, I didn't know what to do so I ended up locking the dog in my friends garden so I could go and get my mum, only problem was that the house connected to hers doesn't have a gate so by the time I got back Max was gone. However, the story continues because during my mums trip to the bank she found Max by the nursery, so we put a collar on him and we were about to take him to the vets when someone came out looking for him, he is now safe and sound at home with his owner.
When we finally made our way to the Christmas markets (which by the way had really cute arch entrances to walk through) it was already ridiculously busy for 10:30am. We wandered around, and not long after arriving I nearly cried, twice. This was due to the fact that there was so many people around (gotta love anxiety), so thankfully we went off to somewhere much quieter (Just a few shops) to allow me to calm down, also, a benefit of this was that most of the shops that we went into were playing Christmas music which I love, even though it is abit early. We bought a few things for me, my brother and my family, this included birthday presents, then went back around the markets, the only problem was that even though everything was related to Christmas it just doesn't feel like Christmas yet. By the end of the day I was actually pretty happy with the trip due to the fact that I got a pink blanket which is soooooo fluffy and soft, it made the day worthwhile.
So, this was my very eventful Saturday, overall it went okay.
I can also say that whilst finishing this post I am definitely now in the mood for Christmas, this has also been encouraged by the Christmas candles I just lit.
Hope you have a nice week and please pray for me at parents evening on Tuesday, will be needing all the support I can get.
